THE HIRER
The Hirer shall only use the said equipment for its intended purpose and in a right and proper manner.
Hirer undertakes the responsibility of hiring the correct equipment.
The hire period is strictly as stated in the hire agreement. All hire equipment must be returned no later than noon on the due return date. Any equipment returned late will be charged at the daily rate up-until its return.
The Hirer shall not take the equipment outside the UK under any circumstances whatsoever.
The Hirer undertakes full responsibility for the security and safe keeping of the hire equipment, and accepts full responsibility for the loss or damage of said equipment, howsoever caused.
The Hirer undertakes any public liability responsibilities whilst the equipment is in their care.
The Hirer agrees not to tamper with and or modify, or allow any third party to tamper and or modify the workings of the equipment in any way whatsoever. Any damage caused as a result of such action will be charged to the Hirer by the Company.
If the equipment is lost by any means whatsoever or damaged beyond repair. The Hirer will pay the Company the current retail price to replace the said equipment, plus the daily hire rate of the said equipment charged from the hire date to the date of the equipment being replaced.
THE COMPANY
Although the hire equipment is maintained to the highest standard. The Company accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any malfunction/s or breakdown/s of the said hire equipment, although we offer a like-for-like replacement during our opening hours.
The Company accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to equipment not supplied by the Company by the Hirer and/or their employees or agents connecting such equipment to the Equipment supplied by the Company and/or a third party appointed by the Company. Nor accepts responsibility of any loss financial or otherwise.
The Hire is sold without any form of Public Liability Insurance. Public Liability is the sole responsibility of the Hirer. The Company accepts no responsibility for any public liability claims whatsoever.
All cables are supplied in good working order and should be returned in the same condition. Any missing and/or damaged connectors or plugs will be charged plus the cost of the connector/s or plug/s.
All lighting is supplied with working lamp/s. Lamps blown or damages during the hire are chargeable at the current retail price.
CANCELLATION
If the hire is cancelled more than 7 days prior to the contracted date for any reason whatsoever, a cancellation fee will be charged by The Company. If the hire is cancelled any less than 7 days prior to the arranged date or not entered into by the Hirer for any reason whatsoever, the full hire fee will be charge by The Company. All deposit payments are non-refundable.
OWNERSHIP
The said hire equipment remains the property of the Company, ‘DJGEARHIRE’ at all times.
This hire agreement shall determine forthwith without prejudice to any antecedent claim to the Company and/or the hire equipment forthwith be repossessed by the Company in any one or more of the following events: (a) the commission of the Hirer of an act of bankruptcy or his entry into any agreement with his general body of creditors. (b) The breach by the Hirer of any of the stipulations herein contained and on their part to be observed and performed.
The Hirer is strongly advised to have public liability insurance against any said claims and also have adequate insurance to cover any cost replacing lost or damaged equipment.
